ear-crushing sounds spread across the globe
shockwaves so powerful that they tore every building apart
those lucky enough to hide in basements
barely survived the blast
disfigured and mutated
they crawl out from the cracks of a ruined land

a wasteland lies deserted
like scavenging rats they harvest what’s left
the last pieces of a world
now pulverized by power hungry masters
fighting for their own gain
who knows how it started or who struck first

the entire population of the world
reduced to mere nothing

by the push of a hand
