withered by the hands of time
a structure once standing tall

hibernation calls

pieces of shattered glass falling from the arches of the ceiling

an empty throne fills the room with a ambience of stature

once a position of power
now it’s nothing but a fading memory
of lost generations, slowly degenerating the world
an impurity manifesting in the heart of society

only at the brink of extinction, staring into the abyss
